Fic of the Day: Dog Soldiers

It's Deafness Awareness Month, which I just found out on Day 21. But being hard of hearing my own self, I thought I would offer this for your horror and amusement. Probably the weirdest concept for a horror movie ever... a deaf vampire in a movie that is all done in sign language. The review is a few pages long and it just keeps getting weirder!

The good news: One more week of school left. I got the DMV thing taken care of finally, finally.
And this whole week in the 31_days I’ve done fics about the girls in fandoms.
Tuesday’s was about Stella from 30 Days of Night. Wednesday’s was Integra from Hellsing. Thursday was Meg from Dog Soldiers. Friday was Sophie from Howl’s Moving Castle. Saturday was Sovaz from Tanith Lee’s Tales of the Flat Earth. Sunday’s was Katara from Avatar the Last Airbender. And today’s is Lorelei from my own silliness, Bloodties.

The bad news: It’s Monday and I overslept. There’s nothing to pack for lunch and I have sooo much to start packing and putting away…. Yeesh.

My computer has been contrite. I will allow it to live.

I loved the Dog Soldiers movie. Best werewolf movie I've seen. It also has Sean Pertwee in it. He's good in everything. There's only one thing I didn't like about it: Megan's plot twist. Yeesh.

I'm still peeved that I couldn't post the one from yesterday. It was about Jim Henson's The Storyteller. I loved that show too. I remember watching those on Friday nights and being enthralled. Magic all the way around. Maybe I'll get a chance to post that fic later on.
